Major Task Headings

  • Focus: Digital & Social strategy
  • Acting as key brand consultant to help develop modern, overarching brand & communication plans for a variety of our clients
  • Help drive transformation of our clients’ Digital and Social communication strategies – including ensuring appropriate measurement & effectiveness of outputs
  • Responsible for providing inspiration from grounded consumer insights that will give way to ideas that accelerate brand success across several categories.


  • Actively help drive our innovation & transformation agenda
  • Develop clear, coherent strategic recommendations for our clients, specializing in modern marketing principles
  • Work closely with our Data & Intelligence, and Paid Media teams to provide data-centric solutions
  • Help provide compelling creative direction through succinct creative brief writing – and working closely with our creative partners
  • Stay current and connected to new media & popular culture to identify and activate relevant opportunities
  • Be able to work across multi-discipline teams within Ogilvy, incl Creative, PR, Digital, Media, to develop excellent integrated brand activity that drives growth for our clients
  • Manage and develop Midweight and Junior Strategists, including performance tracking and building of individual development plans


Education & Experience

  • Degree in Marketing is preferable
  • 6-8 years+ experience as Agency and/or FMCG Consumer Planner, including team management experience
  • Extensive knowledge of digital & social communications planning

 Successful applicants will:

  • Have an excellent level of English (verbal & written). French or Dutch an added bonus, although not required
  • Be Research savvy - understand how to apply qualitative and quantitative learning
  • Possess strong critical thinking skills - analytical, creative, and lateral
  • Be curious and questioning consumer behavior
  • Can tell and sell a story with strong presentation and writing skills
  • Be digitally savvy and up to date with new media developments
  • Be comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team
  • Be available for domestic & international travel to Clients – as needed
