Responsibilities

ROLE

 

Your role will be to:

 

Define the problem: What have we been asked to do, what can we do, what should we do?

Interrogate client needs and problems and articulate the strategic requirements.

  • Read a trend or campaign report
  • Know the fundamentals of the key social channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok)
  • Understand the role, benefits, and limits of social
  • Understand key social data and ability to synthesise it
  • Have a basic understanding of a client’s business results and competitive landscapes

 

Insight Creation: Finding things out, filtering them, rethinking them laterally to inspire.

Synthsise and communicate insight from brands, audience, culture and category and understand different sources of insight.

  • Know an insight from an observation
  • Know the difference between paid, owned, and earned content
  • Create and present competitor reviews
  • Synthesis desk research for relevance
  • Knowledge in social and analytics tools (Google Trends, Facebook Insights, Spredfast, Sprout Social, Brandwatch)

 

Set the Path: Giving inspiration, clarity & confidence to the team about what needs to be done.

See the alternative strategic routes for a problem and articulate the chosen one.

  • Understand a brief vs. briefing
  • Understand how to find insight from online and social communities
  • Know what makes a good / bad brief

 

Ideation: Helping creative & other disciplines come up with better ideas, faster.

Enthusiastically support the creation of an idea that is right for audience & brand.

  • Make a valuable contribution to brainstorms and workshops
  • Develop ideas that will resonate with a brand’s advocates
  • Document and share great work (problems, insights, ideas, executions)

 

Prototyping and Storytelling: Defining the idea, proving, communicating & selling it.

Bring to life an idea and create a compelling story to frame it.

  • Articulate the brand tone of voice and online identity
  • Articulate the different types of an idea (brand, campaign, execution)
  • Understands the benefits of a test & learn strategy can create testing hypothesis

Manifesting the Work: Crafting the experience journey and delivery detail that brings the idea to life.

Take an idea and bring it to life across channels and the customer journey.

  • Establish and building relationships internally with Media, Production, Strategy, Account, Management, Creative, etc.
  • Build strong collaborative relationships with junior level clients
  • Provide administrative support, including status reports, meeting scheduling, competitor reviews etc.
  • Assist with project management/workflow system data entry and reporting
  • Write in the brand tone of voice
  • Understand how to create social advocates
  • Understand how to create and publish content to social media across all key social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok)
  • Have the ability to work very closely with the Social Media performance team to ensure all comms are developed, deployed and measured in line with best practices
  • Explain the pros & cons of different channels for a task and audience

 

Measurement and Effectiveness: Proving if, how and why the work created real value for the business and consumers.

Understand the mechanics of effectiveness and how to build a case.

  • Understand different categories of measures (e.g. awareness, consideration, conversion)
  • Knowledge of SEO & SEM principles
  • Create basic analytics reports (e.g. impressions, reach, CPM, engagement rates, CPV, CTR, VTR)

Qualifications

  • Fluent in Dutch
  • Fluent or very good level of English
  • Recent and relevant experience managing social media accounts through social media management tools
  • Experience creating, scheduling, publishing content to social channels
  • Experience nurturing online communities and creating brand advocates
  • Recent and relevant experience developing social media content strategies for organisations across a range of sectors.
  • Proven ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast paced and deadline driven environment.
  • Understands how Social Media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.) work and keeps knowledge on current formats and tactics up to date.
  • Proven experience in driving content ideas and executions.
  • Ability to interact with stakeholders – junior to senior, knows how to educate and convince
