Overview

We have a great opportunity for a native Dutch speaking Social Media Manager to work with a dedicated team within one of Hogarth’s global clients; KraftHeinz. This dynamic team is looking for someone who will thrive on the challenge of working for well known, exciting global and local brands and who is comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment. This individual will need to be comfortable to work directly with client face to face and on a daily basis.  

 

Your role as Social Media Manager will be to support in the moderation, creation and output of creative content and the community management across various social media channels for the Netherlands and Belgium. As our dedicated Social Media Manager, you’ll be the voice of some of KraftHeinz’s most beloved household brands: Heinz, KC, Honig, DeRuijter, and Wijko. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop the content calendar for our social channels requesting supporting content where necessary and taking into account ongoing marketing activities, trends in the communities, best practice and official guidelines 
  • Develop the growth strategy for the owned media channels for KraftHeinz’s priority brands 
  • Post creative content to social channels ensuring content is posted in line with industry, social and digital best practice   
  • Drive culturally relevant and meaningful conversations with KraftHeinz’s consumers to increase brand engagement and stimulate loyalty. 
  • Ensure posted content is compliant and reflects the correct tone of voice  
  • Review and respond, in close collaboration with the Customer Service team, to community comments and questions in a timely manner ensuring relevant comments are responded to in order to encourage positive engagement and add value to the user’s experience, in line with the moderation policy for each community 
  • Monitor industry discussions and trends through the use of social listening tools and analysis 
  • Monitor and measure the success of social content and provide on-going reports and future suggestions 
  • Identify and report trends in usage and advise on potential opportunities and threats in both owned platforms and 3rd party communities/media 
  • Alert internal stakeholders as issues arise and work to resolve issues 
  • Administrate the social platforms including implementing new community features, maintaining security and integrity of existing tools 
  • Assisting with the management and coordination of social media projects - from campaigns and events, to bespoke social campaigns 

Qualifications

  • Native Dutch speaker 
  • Optional: French Intermediate level (for HZ BE) 
  • Proven track record and sound understanding of social media and community management, gained through similar experience within food & beverage and retail. 
  • Passionate about popular and emerging social platforms, trends and technology 
  • Demonstrable experience of managing online communities for brands including strategy and basic content creation 
  • Experience working in the food industry preferred 
  • Work with the BMs and MMs to understand the brand strategies and objectives with consumers and become an active member of the marketing team. 
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle a number of pieces of work at the same time 
  • Excellent written language skills and ability to critique externally written copy 
  • Strong creative skills to develop the right creative content for the right target group.  
  • Good oral language skills 
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability and confidence to work on own initiative in a fast paced and challenging environment 
  • Computer literacy and a good understanding of Microsoft Office software, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Understanding and experience working with Adobe Creative suite preferred 
  • 3-5 years experience in Community Management and Social Strategy
