Passionate about how media strategy can guide marketing performance on the mobile and social web?

As a Jr. Media Strategist, you will be part of our media team. Your role will be to assist the Media Strategy to team to create and execute media strategy (media planning). The role is for an orchestrator who integrates both analytical and creative thinking to produce an optimal digital media strategy for a client’s paid media needs.

 

Very importantly, you are able to build strong relationships and foster good team spirit with both clients and members of the agency to bring great ideas and creative work to life.

You understand how ad platforms work (Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, …) and keep your knowledge on current formats and tactics up to date.

Responsibilities

Your role will be to:

 

Interrogate client media needs and problems and articulate the strategic requirements

  • Interpret a media brief.
  • Have a thorough working knowledge of all agency systems: plan briefings, reviews, follow planning procedures, delivery etc.
  • Understand the difference between business objective, marketing objective, comms objective and social objective and the ability to define each for projects.

Take an idea and bring it to life across channels and the customer journey

  • Explain the pros and cons of different channels for task and audience.
  • Document and visualise simple experience journeys in clear and compelling ways.
  • Interact with creative experts to assist in creating media plans that work in conjunction with creative strategy.
  • Interact with creatives to design multiple versions of assets for targeting and optimisation.
  • Can write a channel plan across paid
  • Can implement and optimize ad campaigns across social.
  • Budget follow up and reporting of the social ad campaigns.
  • Responsible for client planning and deliverables deadlines.

Understand the mechanics of effectiveness and how to build a case.

  • Understands the logic measurement and how to prove effectiveness.
  • Understands media results and can strategize how we improve creative to optimise results.

Qualifications

  • Fluent or very good level of English.
  • Minimum of 3 to 4 years’ experience in social campaign management for planning, execution and reporting.
  • Proven ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast paced and deadline driven environment.
  • Understands how Social Media platforms (Facebook, TikTok, Twitch, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) work and keeps up to date on current formats and tactics.
  • Ability to interact with multiple stakeholders – junior to senior, knows how to educate and convince.
